So you’re considering the apprenticeship route as an option right now or when you finish school/college next year…
Our open event on 28th September is for apprenticeship and pre-apprenticeship options in automotive, construction, engineering and manufacturing.
Did you know?
- Employers think apprentices are more employable than people with other qualifications (Skills Funding Agency, 2017)
- 98% of our apprentices immediately progress into a job or higher apprenticeship
- Apprentices can earn up to 270% more over their lifetime than university graduates (Barclays, 2016)
Craig Cahill, a warehousing apprentice at the University of Liverpool, said: I would definitely recommend an apprenticeship to my friends, as it’s enabled me to develop new skills in the workplace, while getting paid and working with some great people.”
You are invited to an open event on Thursday, 28th September to find out how we can help you, just like we did with Craig. Come anytime between 4pm and 7pm to:
Greater Manchester SkillCentre, Unit B, Ashburton Point, Wheelforge Way, Trafford Park, M17 1EH
If you can’t get there directly, we have a minibus pick-up service in Manchester city centre at 5pm outside Lee House, 90 Great Bridgewater Street, Manchester, M1 5JW. The minibus will make a return journey to take you back to Manchester from Trafford Park.
If you’re worried about how you’ll attend your training at the SkillCentre, still come along to find out how we can help. For example, we offer a free minibus service every morning and afternoon from various pick up points across Greater Manchester. We also offer our engineering and automotive training at locations other than the SkillCentre.
