The course covers the Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005 with particular emphasis on the role of the ‘responsible person’, their requirement to produce a fire risk assessment and ensure their staff are adequately trained.

What will I achieve?

Previous experience of Fire Risk Assessments is not required. Candidates will be shown a step-by-step process for conducting Fire Risk Assessments and given the opportunity to use this process to carry out a Fire Risk Assessment under guidance.
